BeneFinder has been in the game since 1984. We've had the privilege to work with some amazing people and businesses throughout the years.
Founded in 1984 as Virginia Group Benefits, BeneFinder has grown into a recognized leader in the health insurance industry, adapting to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Today, we offer a comprehensive suite of services designed to simplify the complexities of health insurance, benefits administration, and HR management for businesses and individuals alike.
What sets BeneFinder apart is our ability to serve both large wholesale divisions of independent agents and our own retail clients. We specialize in a wide array of markets, from individual and family plans (on and off exchange) to Medicare Supplemental coverages and group benefits. With subject matter experts at every stage of our client’s journey, we’re here to provide the guidance and support you need, no matter where you are in life.
In 2012, we partnered with INSX Cloud to launch one of the first private health exchanges in the country. As a result, we began processing enrollments even before Healthcare.gov was operational, helping to pave the way for a more efficient and streamlined health insurance experience.
In 2017, we took another significant step by introducing our payroll division. We recognized that small to mid-sized business owners face increasing pressure from routine tasks such as recruiting, onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration. Our all-in-one payroll solution simplifies these burdens by integrating benefits management into a secure payroll system, offering business owners enhanced transparency and control over their operations.
In 2023, BeneFinder acquired Trident National Corporation, a leading provider of drug testing and background check services across 23 states. This acquisition enables us to offer a holistic HR solution, helping businesses navigate complex issues like cannabis legalization and state-federal compliance conflicts.
